If we are committing to Before All Things, how does this change my giving to missions, the general fund, and other special offerings?

During this two-year period (December 2015 thru December 2017), every gift you bring to God through The Church of Eleven22 is a contribution to the Before All Things initiative. Through the “One Fund” approach we are taking, all ministry initiatives and all money supporting those initiatives will be included in Before All Things.

What are you asking me to do?

First and foremost, we want you to go before the Lord and ask Him the question, “Are you really before all things in my life, or have some things crept into the spot that is rightfully yours?” Then respond to His leading. We want 100% of those who call The Church of Eleven22 home to participate by making a commitment to this initiative. That means regardless of your socio-economic state, we want everyone to respond in their generosity in a way that shows that God is before all things in your life.

Are there additional ways besides cash that I can give more towards Before All Things?

Be creative as you explore ways you and your family can give to Before All Things. You can donate stock, property or other valuable items. You may have stored resources (investment accounts, large bank accounts, etc.) that God has blessed you with that He may be calling you to give out of during this time. To donate shares of stock, please visit to download the appropriate form.

What if I don’t have a job right now? What does that mean for my Before All Things commitment?

Before All Things is about your total, radical, sacrificial generosity to God’s mission at The Church of Eleven22. We believe that God calls us to action in times of hardship just as much as He does in times of abundance, and that looks different for every person. Before All Things is about a heart change - one that is only accomplished by surrendering our lives completely over to God in this area of giving. That may mean that you are being challenged to sell things, to pick up odd jobs, or even to trust God in faith by making a commitment that you don’t quite know how to fulfill right now, but that you believe God will provide for as you seek ways to sacrifice and work towards that commitment. Our goal is that 100% of those who call The Church of Eleven22 home to make a commitment.

What if I am severely in debt right now? Am I still supposed to give?

If you are currently making payments toward debt, we commend you for making progress toward financial freedom. We would be honored to help you on this journey by recommending budgeting tools and resources that may be helpful for you. Being in debt does not, however, excuse us from bringing our first and best to God. Generosity back to God is not about what God wants from you, but what He wants for you.

What if I have never given to The Church of Eleven22 before?

Before All Things was crafted specifically with you in mind. Before All Things is a “One Fund” generosity initiative, meaning that it is different from a traditional capital campaign where you are called to give an extra gift above and beyond your normal giving - thus creating TWO STEPS for people who aren’t yet giving. Before All Things is a call to sacrificial, Gospel-centered generosity for absolutely everyone at The Church of Eleven22. If you have never given before, this is your chance to get in the game with a committed sacrifice. We really hope you will.

What if I am new around here?

Before All Things is about the vision for our church. We believe that the local church is one of the most compelling missions to give towards, and we would really love for you to make The Church of Eleven22 your home and join us in Before All Things. If you are ready for it, this is a perfect time for you to put a stake in the ground and make this your church. We need you on the team!

You may have questions that aren’t answered here. If so, look around our campus during the Before All Things sermon series for the Before All Things information kiosks. There, you will find Vision Ambassadors that can help answer any questions you may have. You can also email us at or visit .
