Coronavirus Information

March 20, 2020

Church family,

As we continue to monitor the global spread of the COVID-19 virus, please watch this video from Pastor Joby and our leadership team, with more detailed information outlined below.

Worship Gatherings

Our worship gatherings moved online this past Sunday, March 15th – and church… as a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus… our movement adjusted incredibly to this shift in our gathering! While we need to create some social distance, more than 30,000 of us joined together online Sunday morning to glorify God in worship and Word!

We will continue our worship gathering online for the next two weekends (through March 29) on coe22.com with expanded service times.

Other Gatherings and Events

All other Eleven22 events, gatherings and classes remain cancelled through Wednesday, April 1. We will determine in the near future if these cancelled events will be rescheduled.

ONE Weekend

Note to our parents, ONE Weekend for students which was scheduled for March 27-30 has been cancelled. Be on the lookout for more detail coming from our Student Ministry.

Disciple Groups

We recommend that Eleven22 off-campus groups meet at the discretion of each group and consider virtual options such as Zoom, Facetime or telephone conferencing. We are actively looking into an online platform for groups to use.

Our groups are an essential part of our discipleship journey and a great way for us to stay focused on the hope of Jesus during times like this with other Christ followers.

Hope's Closet

Starting today, both the Arlington and San Pablo locations will be closed through April 1. This includes both sales floor hours and donation hours.

Ways to Give

There are multiple ways for us to bring our tithes and offerings. Giving can be done online at coe22.com/give, through the give option on our app, text COE22 to 77977 or by mail: The Church of Eleven22, 14286 Beach Blvd., Suite 42, Jacksonville, FL 32250.

Communication, Care and Prayer

Updates

We recognize that this is a dynamic situation with constant new information. We will provide updates on social media, via email and here on our website.

Care
We are family. If you are in need of care during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our care team at care@coe22.com.

Prayer
With you, we are learning and listening every day and as new information becomes available we are praying and planning. We do know that we are called to live in faith and not fear, because we know that our hope is not in our circumstances, but in our sovereign Savior. Scripture tells us that nothing happens outside of His control (Hebrews 1:3) and that He works all things together for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28). He invites us to call on Him in times of trouble (Psalms 50:15) and to take refuge in Him. We invite you in this season to pray bold prayers, asking that:

  • God would glorify Himself by drawing people to Himself in this time.
  • God, in His mercy, would stop this growing pandemic, not only in our community, but in cities around the world. Pray for treatments and antivirals to be developed.
  • Leaders who are called to address this crisis (particularly medical and governmental officials) would be equipped with wisdom and compassion.
  • Local churches would demonstrate the gospel by walking in faith and resisting fear, pointing people to the only source of hope and security in Jesus.
  • Our overseas missionaries and church partners would act as God’s ambassadors, continuing to offer the hope of the gospel.

We love you like crazy and are here for you if we can serve you in any way!
